Cooperation between organizations is a good way to develop, exchange and adapt knowledge, skills and activities. This is certainly true for the expertise centres operating in the Netherlands in the field of psychiatric health care. |

At the beginning of 2002 the ministry of health appointed Accare to be the leader of the National Expertise Centre for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, a project that support until 2007. The Knowlegde Centre will be continued as a network organisation as of 2009, with the support of several major child-psychiatric institutions in the Netherlands. Form of cooperation The National Expertise Centre for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is a form of cooperation between academic and non-academic institutions for child and adolescent psychiatry in the Netherlands.
